Every now and then I post links to my new followers in hopes that they connect with other great Blogs and to show my appreciation for them following me and I thank each and every one of you. I do this because in this vast sea of the blogosphere it is hard to get noticed and most of all by me doing this, it is sometimes more valuable than getting one like on a certain post.
Let’s shake some hands and get to know one another.

I would like to thank An Artsy Appetite from http://anartsyappetite.com/ for nominating me for this award. My 3 questions to answer:
1) Tell us something unique about yourself and your greatest inspiration.
As I am writing this, I asked Deb and she said, “everything about you is unique” she further said my point of view. There might be some biased there, but I will say that my skin is painted with a flare for the Asian arts. Greatest inspiration, I would have to say that even though he no longer walks the earthly realm, my Dad was very influential and my son.
2) What made you start blogging? What does blogging mean to you?
I started blogging to test the water, is it cold, ice cold, lukewarm or are horns sprouting from my temple. I am still figuring that one out.
Blogging is a means for a more open communication, discovering like-minded individuals, making new connections with hopes that most will last for long durations as the seasons change.
3) Write any two things you have learned after you started your blogging journey.
What I have learned after I first started blogging was the dynamics of the audience at least those that have decided to follow this jack rabbit blog that hops and jumps from one topic to another. I learned that Family history, for the most part, is a stale subject for most, learning to shift or sway back and forth finding that right balance to captivate an audience’s attention from likes to comments was a crucial lesson. Here is the update from Microsofts Windows Defender. Once it finished it gave me the news, TROJAN it’s called the Rougejs/fakecall.D
The software was able to get rid of it which was found in temporary internet file\IES folder. This was from just visiting the site this morning. Imagine what could have happened if I did called that Scam number, it could have been worse.
I did find the person’s Facebook page and sent them a polite message informing them that their Blog may have been compromised.
Here is the screen shot after it had been removed.
I was also hoping to do a reblog this morning that Tosha point me to. However the person’s Blog does not have any like, reblog or press this button showing up on the post, I can only assume that is part of the new update that affected several WordPress Bloggers with the like button disappearing.
Sometimes we take life for granted as well as our surrounding, we forget to take that moment and listen to our environment, marvel in the glorious wonder that surrounds us,
So today at 1 PM CST I have this meeting with two state workers to discuss possible classes and reenter the workforce. I hope it involves letting one be creative utilize one’s brain and or to write, but I have a feeling not.
So in the meantime, please enjoy my last post WITHIN THE SHADOW OF DARKNESS if you have not already read it -it just might frighten you.
And for other readers, I do have some retouched photos and I know Melanie really enjoys seeing old photos brought back to life, I hope other do as well.
Here’s the scoop,
I just received word that services for my Aunt Sheila will be on the 15th of this month in Colusa, California.
I am trying to raise money so that I can attend the funeral. The current airfare from Sioux Falls Sd is $873.00
The average cost to drive there and back-basing fuel at three dollars per gallon and a car getting twenty seven miles per gallon would cost $400.00 on the low side.
25 h (1,717.1 mi) via I-90 W and I-80 W: Sioux Falls, SD to Williams, California by car.

While I am still busy working on the second part of Family dynamics -A candid look into my Mother’s life, I thought I would do a video of how to restore a photo, This will be one of many to come so be sure to check back often.
Is it time consuming? Yes, it is but there is no better way to preserve our family history. Most of us, have some old photos that collected dust, rips and tears and I will be showing you how I fixed several of my photos and some I did for my family. Some people charge anywhere from twenty-five dollars to seventy-five dollars and some charge per hour. Granted, there are some photos that no matter how hard we try to fix it, are lost. We could try a professional then we run the chance of a high bill and the photo not looking what we would have hoped for…..
I do hope you enjoy this first video. The video can bee seen here: Please like or leave feedback for me.
