If you did not know, Danny from DREAM BIG, DREAM OFTEN is hosting a Meet & Greet starting today.
Meet and Greet Birthday Extravaganza!!
DANNY FROM DREAM BIG DREAM OFTEN IS HOSTING HIS BIMONTHLY MEET & GREET PARTY
Thank You To All
As I sit here in front of my home built PC wearing my Batman hoodie trying my best to think of ways to thank each of you for wishing me a Happy Birthday, when we are young in our youth and prime, we relish presents of gold, yet as we age like fine wine and bourbon, we gain wisdom along the way from the trials of life.
27 best wishes on WordPress and 40 wishes on Facebook not bad for being an Introvert, it not the gifts that one may receive, although nice at times I will admit, it is the act of kindness and well-wished thoughts to an individual.
One of my friends put together four photos from the past to celebrate my day. These photos were taken at a Sushi restaurant and John got me hooked on Eel. The memories, good times eating, drinking Sake, laughing while we released our frustrations from a dead end corporate job nightmare.
And a special wish from one of my closest friends that served in the Persian Gulf War, I think most of us remember that one. The sand causing problems and most death caused by friendly fire as I learned one night over a beer.

Happy Birthday Michael! Thank-you for spreading positivity and kindness across the internet! Hugs from NC.”
Thank-you for spreading positivity and kindness across the internet. I do try my best at this. Virtual Hug back countingsheepstudio from SD.
One of fellow Blogging friends even wished me a Happy birthday via Twitter which was new and a first. This is Tosha Michelle a very sweet person though I never met her in person, but I feel that we might get along in the real world just fine. Why do I say that? I’ll tell you, she will sometimes tweet asking how my week was or going, Tosha can be found at http://laliterati.com/
That takes me back to an earlier post I did about building those relationships, making connections and sharing.
Again thank you for the wishes.

1 Way to Help You Meet New Readers: Meet and Greet
This is one way to meet new people and gain new readers!
A FaceBook Share
The other day I saw this share on Facebook and was profound wisdom. After reading this give it some thought.
Answers called out ranged from 8 oz. to 20 oz.
She replied, “The absolute weight doesn’t matter. It depends on how long I hold it. If I hold it for a minute, it’s not a problem. If I hold it for an hour, I’ll have an ache in my arm. If I hold it for a day, my arm will feel numb and paralyzed. In each case, the weight of the glass doesn’t change, but the longer I hold it, the heavier it becomes.”
She continued, “The stresses and worries in life are like that glass of water. Think about them for a while and nothing happens. Think about them a bit longer and they begin to hurt. And if you think about them all day long, you will feel paralyzed – incapable of doing anything.”
Remember to put the glass down.

3 Reasons to Daydream Your Way to DBDO Tomorrow
Early Friday morning Sept, 25th, Danny is hosting another Meet & Greet, Time to shake hands and make new friends!
Crockpot Chicken
Deb Found this recipe Via Facebook and she really wanted to try it.
With recent news of her car shaking hands with Mr. Reaper, I thought I would just go ahead and make it. I will admit that when I read anything that says to use vinegar in food my nose cringes. It just does, but this one was good to my surprise and is why I am posting it. I did manage to find the original creator of said dish.
Let’s do it:
Sweet Baby Ray’s Crockpot Chicken
Ingredients
4 -6 chicken breasts
1 (18 ounce) bottles barbecue sauce ( Sweet Baby Rays)
1/4 cup vinegar ( I used Heinz Apple Cider Vinegar)
1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon garlic powder
Directions
Mix everything but chicken.
Place chicken in crockpot (frozen is ok).
Pour sauce mixture over chicken.
Cook on low 4-6 hours.
Broil if desired.
I used one large chicken breast to split between the both of us. I followed the directions to a T, except to reduce the red pepper flakes since I was only using one breast. the red pepper flakes is what adds that kick waking up the taste buds. If you prefer a mild kick in the pants, then use only a small pinch of the red pepper flakes.
Note: With one breast, I would reduce the time to 3 to 4 hours instead of the full 6 hours.
My Ancestory Video Submission
Most everyone here know that Genealogy is one of my hobbies and passions of finding lost relatives. Ancestry was having a contest and the winner would be selected from a vast pool of submissions. I thought here is my chance for my 15 minutes of fame and glory -so I thought.
I was excited and nervous at the same time. I was like Ralphie from A Christmas Story fantasizing of that Red Ryder BB rifle. I gathered material I would need, wrote a rough draft, made sure equipment worked and proceeded to shoot my video submission that I thought would lead to certain destiny calling me. I took three videos and edited the best one that I was sure to bring me the Oscar or at least nominations. I carefully selected still images for branding, employing key animations thinking to myself this would be the icing on the cake. Once I was sure with my delusions, I enter their site, I found the link to add my video that would lead to stardom waiting. All big eyed dreaming, salivating and fantasizing of glory to come, I caressed the mouse with deep breaths and clicked the button to upload a masterpiece -so I thought.
I waited patiently for any type of communication, one if by email, two if by phone, three if by Facebook, but no words, no communication came, and that was that. The dream crushed and grinded like refined chopped nuts, spirits shattered and shared to the delusions of grandeur in the moment.
