Final Scene

Final Scene

The Day before Thanksgiving.

Faint whispers

Nimbus hovers over

Salty tears

Billie gently takes your hand

Sine wave flattens

Dissipating fog

Forgotten memories shine bright

Roots strong as Damascus steel

You are home with Father now

R.I.P Uncle

Invisible Scars

Days of past have spawned their shadows of doubt

Forming future broke hollow bridges

Eyes that rolled -while others turn away

Torches lit –stones thrown

Bringing unwanted burns

Forged smiles

Stacking on life’s young fragile tiles

Days spiral

Serpents slither intertwining -twisting shades of gray haze

Stars fade away

As you look, hope and dream for a sunny spring day

Empty eyes casting spells of day’s illusions

As darkness crawls

Recalling shallow whispers

Silently walking through sorrow’s lane

Passing Cake Battered Avenue

Ashamed, beaten, bruised alive

Headed for sanctuaries path

Covered by tainted souls

Shadows crying unwanted lies

Dim lights glow as you shower

In hopes of days soot vanishes

Swilling down the careless pit that hisses without a kiss

Beauty of My Heart

As you stare with all your power

Eyes of many colors

I shower you with flowers

As I gaze upon your massive strengths

Delegate curves of desire

I feel the fires of your energy

Radiate my soul

Although at times

You and I try to manipulate each other

I still admire you with great passion

And when I stroke, fondle your buttons of joy

You light up my day

When I press the right key to your heart

You are my state of the art

A package bundled with many pleasures

May I dock with your port?

Within the Shadow of darkness

Out of the shower

Aroma of fresh flowers

Rain drops glisten

Slowly rippling

Gently kissing, caressing nature’s beauty

Like a diamond cut to tantalizing perfection

Fantasying, visualizing, reminiscing

Breath of life gently escapes

Supple moist lips as mirror fogs

Puddles form beneath

White towel lightly wraps

Soft, succulent curves of desire

Three candles lite

As you gracefully float by

Within the Shadow of darkness

Candle lights flicker

Mesmerized

Elevated breath -soft sighs of remembered pleasures

Emotions soaring

Heart beats Faster

Body softly gyrating

Towel quietly unfolds

Exposing seven wonders to admire

Soft silk engulfs you

Faint whispers from behind

“I desire you”, “I want you”, I want to feel you close to me”

Presence pressing against you

Vibrations of warmth upon your neck

Under the cloak of darkness

Cloth pressing, swaying -fondles your skin

Feel a pinch

Body quivers, flinches

You lightly bite your lip

As you exhale from delight

Eye’s open -dawn has come

Sunlight casting rays on your grandeur bosom

Vague recollections of pure bliss

You turn your head

You’re alone

Was it but a mere dream?

This Father Wrote His Bullied Daughter a Song to Let Her Know how Special She is

This man has it right! His child was being bullied and delivered a wise message to his kids, It’s not about retaliation. He also has another video about his wife thats has over 1,255,935 views with 3.857 likes and 67 dislikes that correlates with the poems I write: https://youtu.be/y0XcsBFwVq8
I wish I could shake this man’s hand in person, but for now this reblog will have to do.

Kindness Blog

Bullying is a huge problem in schools around the world, which leaves thousands of kids a year feeling insecure and abused.

This foul treatment can cause both physical and emotional distress. The reality is that almost every kid experiences bullying in some way, so if you haven’t, you’re very lucky.

When this little girl told her dad that she was being bullied, he decided that he needed to tell her how special she really is.

Khari Touré - BullyingHe sat down and wrote a poem, which he then put to music, and created a song meant to inspire not only his own kids, but kids across the country who are dealing with bullying and harassment.

This dad is no stranger to viral fame. He once wrote a song to his wife about how he wished she loved herself more, which you can check out here.

We hope Khari Touré continues to make…

Within Your Eyes

As I stand within your shadow

I see you gaze upon tomorrow’s doors

Yearning, craving, wanting for something more

I see you

Hair softly moving as you glide across

Like reeds gently bending from wind’s soft kisses

I absorb your fragrance that hits my senses

Eyes close

Iridescent dreams of your smile

Ears perking as though I were listening to the Big Five

When you speak

I see you – longing for the day

Stories Behind the Writings

Melanie mentioned that she wanted to know the story behind, “Through the Years” her exact comment, “Beautiful poetry. I’d love to know the story behind it”.

Like many bands and other artists would do from time to time, would have these sit downs with the audience and answer question about certain songs and how it transpired.

This will be my attempt at doing this.

First let us begin with the first one that changed the direction of this blog.

July 1993. Fairly self-explanatory being a tribute to my Dad, What you don’t know!

This one was my first step getting back on the bicycle after many years of not writing, after my Mother passed in 2002 it took me a month before I could watch a comedy and finally laugh. Then other life events like marriage, well to keep this part short, I should have just jumped in satins mouth. It would have been faster. The poem at the bottom was actually written May 27, 1998 and I edited to go with the piece I wrote above.

A Poem, I will admit I was a bit overwhelmed and very shocked at first when I saw how well July 1993 did. I was wondering was it a fluke or do I still got it.

During my life span, I have seen the silent tears that people hold inside, whether it was my own Mother or a co-worker and there were several. If one looks beyond the exterior you catch a glimpse of unspoken despair in one’s eye.

So, when I wrote this on August 20-21 of this year I wanted women to feel and break some emotional wall barriers and at the same time, hopefully some of the, male viewers would get a clue.

Take My Hand; I believe this was one of the more powerful ones about loving women as time goes by. I am trying to find the rights words as I write this; I had to get in touch with my feminine side and place myself in their shoes so to speak.  Most of us look into the mirror, wondering what happened but most women will see wrinkles, taking stock option on youth cosmetics when they should feel good about themselves. As we age as they say, things start to head for the South Pole.

One of the inspirations for this one was from a Highlander movie with Christopher Lambert. There is a flashback scene where he is young and his wife has gotten grayer with mortal age, yet he still loved her until her dying day. There was no trading in a 40 year old for two 20 year olds. He loved her! Some men like most women like to know that we are still hot, sexy and desired that is where, “As I stand here in the mist of night, I see your silhouette beneath the sheets. Those delicate curves still ignite the fires of desire.” comes into play.

handwrittingFAREWELL MY LOVE: I felt bad when I heard the news of Alison Parker and Adam Ward being gunned down by a former co-worker to be taken from their prime years, so while I was at the mechanics shop waiting for them to get done, I started writing this and then finished later that day. I think this one could be used for almost any death that occurs and how some of us handle it.

Then the writer’s block accorded. This is when I was reclogging several posts for two days straight while I did lose a follower or two during this. Then one day I get a comment from Kim, which is what I needed right at that moment –like sticking a needle in my behind. But, it also brought back a memory of years past that I had thought was burred for good.

Summer 1992, this one took place in Chico California, the event actually happened in 1990 but 1992 rhymed with you. Tanya attended Chico State University while I was at Butte Community College in Oroville, California.  I think what is there does a fairly good job of what transpired.

The one that Melanie has been waiting for to find out the story behind this one.

Through the Years, I was just going to let this one hang in the air and let the reader interpret their own thoughts.

I was listening to yesterday’s songs where you can actually hear the words and not have to refer to the lyrics on the sheet to understand, Lady, Hello, Journey and REO Speedwagon to Styx to get the juices flowing.

There are those times in one’s life where we may be surrounded by ones that love us but we still feel alone inside. Maybe, a person developed depression later on in life, maybe a person mourning the loss of a child. While I was writing this, I was thinking of making a song out of it. “Staring, searching, holding on to yesterday’s bliss” I think in some degree we all do this from time to time when life gets tough while we search for that relief valve.

Share 11 random facts about myself by answering the questions the nominating blogger has created for me.
List 11 bloggers I believe deserve some recognition and a little blogging love! (I can’t nominate the blogger who nominated me.)
Let the 11 bloggers know I nominated them.
Post 11 questions for the bloggers I nominate to answer.

Questions for my nominees:
1: Who are your favorite published authors?

I would have to say, Wes Craven, John Carpenter (The fog), Stephen King (IT, The Shining, The Stand), How can I leave out Clive Barker, I was fascinated by this guy.

2: What did you want to grow up to accomplish in your life?

There were so many things in life I wanted to accomplish, but those branches of life, the paths we take sometimes does not lead one in the correct direction. I started reading and writing at the age of two, my parents did not know what to do with me other than be in shock -they didn’t understand the left side of my brain developed at an accelerated rate. Age 5 or 6, I saw this art contest in a newspaper and drew the picture, I pilfered a stamp and envelope and mailed it in. Time past and then this tall receding hair man with glasses, wearing a conservative three piece suit of the times came knocking on the door. He and parents talked -after all he flew in from -I forget now, but parents said No! Not taking our son far away to be an artist. I must have pulled that preverbal short stick.

3: What is your favorite holiday and why?

Christmas, why, because it’s the one time of the year of true giving and wiping the egg of our faces -but present days of mass marketing and exploiting the the true nature of this time and forgetting it is Jesus birthday we actually celebrate has put a stain on this day for most.

4: If you got to choose your last meal in life, what would it be?

1: Real pizza not the fake stuff that we get now. 2: Good Chinese like I used to get in San Francisco when traveling with my Dad. 3: Mexican Food.

5: What is your favorite temperature? Mine is negative 30 degrees Fahrenheit.

Being born and bred in sunny California, 69 degrees (ok, get your mind out of the gutters) fahrenheit.

6: Introvert or Extrovert?

Introvert, although I do enjoy good company with good solid communication.

7: What are your favorite past times? Reading and writing are mine.

Wood working, fishing, writing, museums, locating lost relatives to name a few.

8: What about yourself would you change if you could?

This is a tough one. Most times I can handle the high stress of danger but regular stress from everyday life (not the small stuff) I have a hard time dealing with those. Stop smoking for good!

9: What scares you the most? Claustrophobic, myself. That and I hate needles.

Seems you and I share this one, too add to this one would be snakes. While a young lad in Ceres, Ca. I was sitting outside in a lawn chair while Dad wearing a red plastic firemans hat raking the yard, I dropped my sucker and reached down to pick it up when I saw this giant colorful snake about to have me for breakfast. Dad, with one hand grabbed that snake threshing it about very similar to what Hulk did to Loki in that one scene, then with his shovel cut its head off. For three days and nights my tongue felt like it was moving like that forked tongue I saw. Once living in Stockton, Ca during a rainy evening, I saw a baby bird and tried to get it out of harm’s way, Mama bird did not like that, at the same time a lighting bolt hit the ground while my Mother freaked out.

10: Why do you blog?

I believe I have answered this in a previous post. ENCOURAGING THUNDER AWARD! OTHER ONE WILL POST LATER

To share knowledge, to bring a smile to someone -I just wish I could be a fly on the wall to see it. To let people know they are needed and not just a number. Raised by a Mother who was very Catholic and very compassionate, I gained a value/moral to respect women in every aspect. I have seen how some are treated in this world of ours and it makes me sick even to this day. So, when I write those love poems, I want women to know that they are respected and cherished and to feel good about themselves.

11: Who is your favorite musician?

There are many, Kenny G, Mozart, Chopin, Tchaikovsky, Liberace, Lionel Richie, Barry Manilow, Santana, Elvis Presley, John Lennon, to name a few, but then you have Dokken, Slaughter, Journey, Def Leppard, The Doors, AC/DC as you can tell I have a variety I like.

For the Nominees: Which took me a while for there are so many with real talent and words of wisdom, but I see I was again awarded another one this morning, so I will be able to select more later. Far out!
